Our life with the Whippets.

Since our childhood we both are involved with dogs. Mark started with Dutch Sheperds, and Roosmarie with Old English Sheepdogs.

Mark was always charmed of Whippets, so he decided to buy one in 1999. He wanted to show the dog, and looked for a whippet with a good pedigree.  His first Whippet was Delirious Brett' and Butter, named Brett. After a couple of weeks it was clear that he never could show Brett, he just had one testicle.

BRETT

Having one whippet, it was no question what the next dog would be....another whippet! We went to the breeder of Brett again and we bought another male; Delirious Doodlebug, named Doodle.

DOODLE

With him we started to show and we went to coursings. Both Brett and Doodle gained their coursing-licenses.

After two years we heard about a coming litter from a bitch  and male that we always admired: Multi Ch. Almansor's Itsy Bitsy and Ch. Courthill Crimson Pirate. We asked the breeder : Marcus Langer,  if we could buy a puppy-bitch from him.

Laela,   ' Forever Blue Demi Moore'  came into our lives.

LAELA

We showed her from the beginning and she was very succesfull, always Excellent with placings and several CC's. After almost three years we started to think about breeding with Laela. We saw some beautiful males abroad and we were thinking of breeding her in 2005.

Leala and Doodle made another decision. Doodle opened 5 doors and the huge heavy backdoor when Laela was outside and mated her at the 20th day.   The result was our Whippet- Sweet Expression's A-litter.  Beautiful puppies, they have all good qualities of both father and mother.  We didn't keep a puppy because we have too many youngsters in the house right now, but the puppies have a wonderful good home now. All our whippets are retired and having a good life on our sofa these days....
